Registrations are open for the Brazilian sign Language Course (libras) - Level III - Class I

Aiming to promote reflective discussions engaging the knowledge and practice of the Brazilian Sign Language, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins  (ESMAT) launches, this Friday (July 22nd), and runs until August 10th, 2022, the registration process for the Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS) – Level III – Class I.

Fifty vacancies are being offered for Judges, civil servers, interns and employees of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins. Other public servers interested in participating in the course who are not part of the public defined in item 3.1, and who are interested in participating in the activity should apply by e-mail to the Center for Training and Improvement of Servers of Esmat - This email address is being protected from spambots. The training will be carried out remotely, through the Virtual Learning Environment of the School and the GOOGLE MEET platform, with a view to provide to the jurisdictional deaf community with a dignified and satisfactory first service in their first language (Libras), in order to reduce social exclusion, discrimination and misinformation caused by the cultural language barrier.

With a class load of 60 hours, the course will be given by the facilitators Heloísa Silva de Araújo Cunha and Renata Laize Pais Brito Mendes, from August 16th to October 25th, 2022.

The registered students must participate in the live activities scheduled for August 16th, 23rd, and 30th; September 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th; and October 4th, 11th, and 18th, 2022, from 9 am to 11:30 am, through the GOOGLE MEET Platform.
