Registration is open for Classes I and II of the Basic Course of Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS) 2021

Aiming to train male and female servers, magistrates and trainees on the use of Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS), developing communication skills to the deaf jurisdictions, providing participants with discussions about the specificities of sign languages, reflections on the deaf difference, in order to reduce social exclusion, discrimination and misinformation caused by cultural linguistic barrier, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins starts on Tuesday (August 3rd) and goes until August 12th, the registration for the Basic Course of Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS) 2021 - Classes I and II.

80 places are being offered, 40 per class, and the course will be held from August 17th to October 15th, 2021 for Class I, and August 19th to October 7th, 2021 for Class II.

Classes will be held through Esmat's Virtual Learning Environment and the Google Meet Platform. For class I, the mandatory live webinars will be held on August 17th, 24th, and 31st; September 14th, 21st, and 28th, and October 8th and 15th, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. For Class II, the mandatory live webclasses take place on August 19th and 26th; September 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th; and October 7th from 9am to 11:30 am.
