CNJ Will Promote An Expanded Meeting Of The Fonepi On Access To Justice For Indigenous Peoples

The National Council of Justice (CNJ) will hold, on April 8th, 2026, from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm, the Extended Meeting of the National Forum of the Judiciary for Monitoring and Effectiveness of Demands Related to Indigenous Peoples (Fonepi). The meeting is part of the institutional agenda of the Council and it proposes a debate on access to Justice for indigenous peoples, bringing together magistrates, civil servers and professionals who work in this area.

The initiative reinforces the importance of institutional dialogue aimed at improving judicial policies related to indigenous peoples, especially in the field of rights guarantee, the promotion of equity and qualification of the performance of the Justice System in the face of sensitive demands, such as land conflicts. Within the CNJ, Fonepi is the space for monitoring and effectiveness of demands related to indigenous peoples in the Judiciary.

The programming will be broadcast live through the Channel of the CNJ on YouTube, allowing for the assistance of the debate by magistrates, civil servers, researchers and other interested parties.
