Magistrates and civil servers of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins must activate two-step verification (2FA) in the institutional accounts of Google Workspace. The measure strengthens digital protection and extends the security of functional information against unauthorized access.
The requirement reaches all users of institutional accounts, even those using computers linked to the Google Credential Provider for Windows (GCPW). With the feature activated, access requires, in addition to the password, a verification code generated on the mobile phone or sent by another method of authentication.
To assist in the process, the Directorate of Information Technology (DTINF) recommends using the Google Authenticator app and it has made available a tutorial with guidelines for setting up the feature.
