The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) published, in early December, the Resolution no 455 of 2025, which regulates institutional support to students of STRICTO SENSU Post-Graduation programs for the presentation of academic papers at scientific-technical events, in Brazil and abroad.
Approved by the Institutional and Academic Board of the School, the regulation establishes objective criteria for the granting of tickets and daily rates, as a way to enable the participation of students in congresses, seminars, symposiums and scientific meetings of recognized relevance.
According to the Resolution, it will be entitled to the benefit students who:
- Are regularly registered in STRICTO SENSU Post-Graduation programs offered or awarded to Esmat;
- Are authors or co-authors of the accepted work;
- Have the consent of the advisor or coordinator;
- Are satisfied with the academic obligations;
- Have not received similar support in the past 12 months (unless justified exception).

It will be the responsibility of the Board of Superior Education and Research of Esmat to analyze the applications, taking into account criteria such as academic merit of the work, thematic relevance in relation to institutional research lines, impact of the event and budget availability.
In addition to the funding, students can receive an institutional letter of recommendation and have their work disclosed in the official channels of the School, as a way to increase the scientific and institutional visibility of academic productions linked to the School. After the event, the beneficiary must submit a participation report with the necessary supporting documents, in accordance with the rules established in the Resolution.
