In the morning of this Friday (Dec 5th), the programming of the annual meeting of the National Network of Judicial and Magistracy Schools (Renejum) continued in the School of the Judiciary of the state of Paraná (Emap), in the city of Curitiba, with the innovation workshop. Participants finished the activities and discussions with the aim of designing the education of the future for the Judiciary, considering perspectives of students and professors for the next 10 years.
At the closing of the Permanent College of Directors of State Schools of the Magistracy (Copedem), representatives from the 10 working groups presented quickly and objectively the main ideas developed, which will be present on the SITE of Renejum, with a launch scheduled for January. The executive secretary of the National School for Training and Improvement of Magistrates (Enfam), Leonardo Peter, accompanied the work during the two days of workshop and organized the final presentations.
“The staff really engaged. Congratulations to the whole team involved and to the participants, who have done a very good job in a short time", he said.
The magistrate Jeremias Melo, of the Court of Justice of the State of Paraíba (TJPB), was one of the laborers and said that the action exceeded all expectations. "Designing the future, talking about futurism in an environment with so many judicial schools was very interesting. The idea was to work schools in network, thinking of building a collaborative future built by them, in a unique and exclusive environment, it was charming. We saw a lot of power in the workshop; many projects will come out that will indeed mark the future of Brazilian judicial education. Some projects are already very mature, missing only a technical part, which we easily execute, and I am sure that they will have great impacts on the education of the Judiciary as a whole", he noted.
Closing of copedem
In addition to the presentation of the results of the workshop, the program of Copedem included election for the biennium 2026-2027 and panels on: Governance and Digital Transformation; and Post-Graduation STRICTO SENSU Professionalizing Out of Headquarters. At the end, it was made the reading of the Curitiba Charter, which brings together the main debates held.
For the president and general director of Esmat, Justice Marco Villas Boas, it was a transformative event.
“The event was highly productive, with a network work being designed and producing results that show us a direction, with pre-formatted products that will direct our schools and serve to magnify the Brazilian Judiciary. I am sure that the projects will contribute to an ethical, humanized and safe justice, so that we have a stable Legal System that actually promotes social justice in our country", he said.
Also present at the closing, the general secretary of Enfam, Ilan Presser, highlighted the importance of frequent dialogue between schools for the transformation of the Judiciary. "So that it produces justice in an ethical, humanized and responsible way, which will ultimately make us realize our duties and institutional and constitutional missions. I believe we have made a historic event here," said Ilan.
