In the month of October, the Judicial Decree no 4.488, of 2025, signed by the president of the Court of Justice of the State of Goiás (TJGO), Justice Leandro Crispim, established the Inter institutional Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence of the Judicial School (LI 2 A-Ejug), the first AI Laboratory of the TJGO, which will be administered by Ejug, with the aim of developing applied research, technological innovation and institutional capacity building in the ethical and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the Judiciary of the state of Goiás.
In September of this year, as a result of the commitment of Justice Marco, Esmat inaugurated its Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence (LIIARES). The space, first of its kind institutionalized within a Judicial School in Brazil, was born with the purpose of boosting applied scientific research, technological innovation and continuous training of magistrates, civil servers and justice professionals, through Artificial Intelligence. Among its objectives, described in the Resolution n° 44 of 2025, are the encouragement of interdisciplinarity, the formation of research networks and the integration of technical and legal knowledge aimed at the common good.
