
The Justice Edésio Fernandes Judicial School (EJEF), linked to the Court of Justice of the state of Minas Gerais (TJMG), has launched the Notice for Calling No. 2/VP/2025 for the selection of legal articles reflecting on the ten years since the enactment of the Law No. 13,146 of 2015 – the Statute of People with Disabilities.
With the theme on “Law No. 13,146, of 2015 - Ten Years of the Statute of People with Disabilities,” the contest aims to promote scientific production and legal debate on the advances, challenges, and jurisprudence that have emerged from the implementation of the law, in line with the defense of fundamental rights, as provided for in the Article 5 of the Federal Constitution.

The five best articles will be awarded an honorable mention and a certificate issued by EJEF/TJMG. The award ceremony is scheduled for February 5th, 2026, in the city of Belo Horizonte.
Registrations must be unpublished, comply with the rules of the call for papers, and address one of the thematic areas, which include accessibility, social inclusion, protection against discrimination, and legal disputes faced by the courts.
The evaluation will be carried out by reviewers with a minimum qualification of a master's degree, using a double-blind system. The final result will be announced on January 15th, 2026, in the Electronic Judicial Gazette (DJe) and on the institutional portal of the TJMG.
