Law That Recomposes Salaries Of Servers Of The Judiciary Is Sanctioned

The restoration of the remuneration of the servers of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins, due to the losses resulting from the conversion of currency into Real Unit of Value (URV), in the 1990s, will be implemented from October this year. It is what provides the State Law no 4.815, sanctioned on this Thursday (July 25th) and published in the Official Gazette of the State - Edition no 6.863.

Presented by the Court of Justice in 2023 and approved by the Legislative Assembly on July 21st this year, the regulation allows the incorporation of the restoration of 11.98% from October this year, with financial effect in the sheet of November, covering the salaries of effective, inactive, pensioners and commissioned servers.

The measure aims to correct wage losses resulting from the conversion of currency into URV, as provided for in the Article 22 of the Law no 8.880, of May 27th, 1994, and it represents the valuation of servers, as assessed by Justice Maysa Vendramini Rosal, president of the TJTO.

"The Law, which has as its main objective to promote the equality of treatment and legal certainty in the remuneration of all servers of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins; is the result of an understanding of the Full Court and the mature dialogue of the successive administrations of the Judiciary with the servers and with the Executive and Legislative Powers."

The restoration applies in accordance with the article 22 of the Law no 8.880, of May 27th of 1994, and the State Law no 2.409, of November 16th of 2010. The standard also observes the provisions of the articles 16, 17 and 20, paragraph II, subparagraph "b", of the Complementary Law no 101 of 2000 (Tax Liability Law (LRF).
