By means of the Provision 145/2023, the National General Internal Affairs of Justice instituted the Safe Soil Award, an initiative to annually highlight good practices and innovations related to the land issue in Brazil, especially with regard to legal certainty and environmental protection. The award seeks, among other objectives, to disseminate actions that improve the fight against clandestine occupations and promote efficiency in the titling of owners of urban and rural areas with great social impact.
Another aspect of the Safe Soil Award is to encourage coordination among public bodies, private institutions and civil society to promote responsible land governance.
For the Edition of 2025, the CNJ has regulated the Safe Soil Award in a special way through the Ordinance No. 4/2025. Everyone is invited to submit good practices and projects. Simply register your action on the 2024-2025 Safe Soil Award form by May 31st, 2025.
The works will be analyzed by Evaluation Committees, made up of professionals of recognized competence, with vast and notorious experience and knowledge in the themes related to the scope of the Award.
In the edition of 2023, the CNJ received 148 entries and recognized 18 outstanding practices.
The 2025 Safe Soil Award ceremony has already been scheduled for August 21st at CNJ.
