The new edition of the EsmatCast is now on the air and its central theme is the topics discussed during the course on “Environmental Law and Agrarian Contracts: Sustainability and Legal Practice”, promoted by the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat). The training was held on March 20th and 21st this year, under the coordination of Justice Ângela Issa Haonat, and aimed to instruct participants in understanding, applying and integrating environmental and agrarian legislation, with a focus on sustainability, conflict resolution and legal certainty.
The episode of April seeks to deepen the debate on the contemporary challenges faced by the Judiciary and legal operators in the face of the growing judicialization of environmental and agrarian issues in Brazil, with the participation of guest professors and specialists in the field.
Professor Antonio Zanette and Professor Marília Longo discuss theoretical and practical aspects of the course and address the legal implications of sustainability in contractual relations in the agricultural sector.
