
From April 7th, 2025 to September 30th, 2026, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) will hold a LATO SENSU Postgraduate course in Educational Innovations for Teaching Practice.
The notice is now available and registrations are open until March 12th. Coordinated by Judge Wellington Magalhães and Denise Sodré Dorjó, who holds a master's degree in Portuguese Linguistics, the course has 36 places on offer, distributed among magistrates and civil servers of the TJTO, as well as professionals from partner bodies, including the State Prosecution, Public Defender's Office, Civil Police, State Court of Auditors, Federal Court, among others. There are also vacancies for representatives of indigenous and quilombola communities.
With a total of 420 class hours, 360 of which are certifiable, the course stands out for its approach based on active methodologies, hybrid teaching and problem and project based learning. The training includes the application of digital technologies in teaching, exploring strategies that favor engagement and the construction of knowledge.
Registrations must be made via the Competitions Management System of Esmat (SGC). For candidates from partner agencies and indigenous and quilombola communities, the nomination will be made by the respective agencies and formalized via letter.

The teaching staff is made up of specialists, masters and doctors with recognized work in the field of education and knowledge management.
Lily Sany S. Leite, master in Computational Systems Modeling. Specialist in School Management and Public Management. Graduated in Data Processing. She has experience in the areas of Computer Science, Educational Management, Public Management, Logistics, Distance Education and Teaching in Superior Education. She currently holds the position of administrative and technological supervisor at Esmat.
Edvaldo Couto, post-doctorate in Education from the Federal University of the state of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). PhD in Education from the State University of the city of Campinas (Unicamp). He is currently a full professor at the Federal University of the state of Bahia (UFBA).
Marisa Pereira Eboli, PhD in Business Administration from the School of Economics, Business Administration and Accounting at the University of the state of São Paulo (FEA/USP). She holds a master's degree in Business Administration from the same institution. She works as a project coordinator at the Institute of Administration Foundation and she is a professor on the undergraduate and professional master's degrees at the FIA Business Administration College.
Ritze Pereira Ferraz, specialist in Distance Education. She holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Isabela Hendrix Methodist University. She has been coordinating distance learning courses, educational media and pedagogical projects for the web at the TRE-MG and TSE for fifteen years.
Valdirene Cássia da Silva, PhD and master in Education from the Federal University of the state of Bahia. Specialist in Communication, Strategies and Languages. She is the coordinator of the Distance Education Center of Esmat. Member of the Postgraduate Program in Science and Health Teaching at the Federal University of the state of Tocantins (UFT).
Adriano Alves Silva, master in Communication and Society from PPGCOM (UFT). He holds a bachelor's degree in Social Communication from the Lutheran University Center of the city of Palmas. He has been a professor at the Catholic College of the state of Tocantins for ten years and coordinates the Extension Program for the Architecture and Urbanism course.
André Raposo, PhD candidate in Gerontology at the Postgraduate Program in Gerontology (PPGG) at the Catholic University of the city of Brasília. He has a master's degree in Regional Development from the Alves Farias University Center (Unialfa) and in Educational Management from the European University (EU).
Osnilson Rodrigues Silva, teacher trainer in Active Learning Methodologies and enthusiast of teaching mediated by digital technologies. He has a Master's degree in Judicial Provision and Human Rights from UFT. Specialist in Philosophy at UCB.
Rafael Dos Anjos Rosa, teacher trainer in active learning methodologies. Specialist in active methods mediated by digital tools. Master's degree in Materials Science from Unesp. Professor at the Catholic University Center of the state of Tocantins (UniCatólica).
Andréa Cristina Filatro, master and PhD in Education from the College of Education at USP. Post doctorate from the Pontifical Catholic University of the state of São Paulo (PUC-SP). She has a degree in project management from FIA. She is the author of books such as “Innovative methodologies in classroom, distance and corporate education” (2018) and “DI 4.0: innovation in corporate education” (2019).
Gizeli Costa Bertollo Menezes, post-doctoral student in Communication at UFT. PhD in Communication Sciences from the University of the Inland Edge (Beira Interior) (UBI). Master in Digital Technologies and Knowledge Society - National University of Distance Education (UNED).
Vânia Passos, PhD in Education from the Federal University of the state of Goiás. Master’s in Education from the University of the city of Brasília. Specialist in Educational Assessment, UnB. Specialist in Educational Administration: Policy, Planning and Management, UnB/Unitins. She works in the area of teacher training, professionalization and practice, as well as educational and institutional evaluation.
