Cnj Resumes Online Events To Disseminate Good Judicial Practices

The National Council of Justice (CNJ) is holding the 20th edition of the event on Disseminating Good Practices in the Judiciary this Wednesday (February 26th) at 4pm. This is the inaugural edition of the ONLINE event in 2025. The practices are part of the Portal of Good Practices of the Judiciary of the CNJ, which brings together successful initiatives carried out by the courts in twenty-three areas. In this edition, four good practices carried out by courts in the area of combating domestic violence will be presented.

From the Combating Domestic Violence axis, the work of the Court of Justice of the State of Roraima (TJRO) in the project on ReparAção+ (RepairAction+) for Women in Situations of Domestic Violence will be presented. The practice offers services aimed at guaranteeing reparation for the material losses suffered by the victim of domestic violence, as well as making the perpetrator responsible.

Another initiative on the programming is Peace at Home, run by the Court of Justice of the State of Ceará (TJCE). The work consists of periodic visits by the Court to the homes of women who have been victims of violence to check on compliance with protective measures and other perceptions of the judicial service. The program also works with aggressors, promoting talks to prevent domestic violence, avoid recidivism and investigate the causes of aggressive behavior.

The TJCE will also present a project focusing on tourists and foreigners arriving in the state of Ceará. The campaign on Combating Violence against Women Doesn't Take a Vacation is made up of explanatory materials distributed at airports, hotels and inns on the subject. An avatar produced by Artificial Intelligence called Ju can also be accessed, with information in six languages, including Italian, German and English - the languages of the people involved in the highest number of incidents.

The event will also provide more details about another action aimed at informing women about their rights. The project on At peace with the Maria da Penha Law promotes individual or collective meetings with victims to clarify legal aspects, rights and procedures to be followed in Court. In addition, transmission groups on WhatsApp provide victims with information material, including videos and cards.
