Transparency and seriousness
With optimism, Justice Eurípedes Lamounier, president of the Organizing Committee for the 6th Judicial Competition of the state of Tocantins, who also chairs the Permanent Selection and Training Committee of the TJTO, points out that the Court of Justice has strived for fairness in the process. “We have implemented all the guidelines, in the sense of total transparency, visibility, to deliver a good product, because today, despite the expectations of the candidates, the Court needs much more,” he said, pointing out that 18 years have passed since the last exam for a judge of the TJTO was held, in 2007.
With regard to the Getúlio Vargas Foundation, which was hired, the justice said that there was no need to comment on its “competence, experience and fairness”.
“We sought out very worthy companies in this respect through a tendering process, with the expertise to hold a transparent competition and select people of the highest caliber, especially now, after the National Judicial Exam (Enam), which will be a milestone in facilitating and attracting the best to our State.”
The president of the commission emphasizes that the TJTO is very committed on holding this competition, with the full support of the Presidency of the Court and the Full Court, and reinforces the importance of the competition for strengthening the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins and improving the provision of services to citizens.
