At a meeting held on December 4th, the Institutional and Academic Council of the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) approved the implementation of the LATO SENSU Postgraduate course in Educational Innovations for Teaching Practice. The new specialization reflects the commitment of the School on promoting excellence in the training of magistrates and civil servers, in line with the principles of efficiency and the social function of the Institution, as advocated by the Federal Constitution.
With a focus on improving educational practices in the public sector, the main goals of the course are: to consolidate the use of active methodologies in teaching; to stimulate innovation and continuous updating in the corporate educational environment; and to strengthen interaction between the justice system and society.
The specialization is also based on the legacy of the Training of Trainers course, which played a significant role in modernizing teaching practices at Esmat.
Next steps
