Registrations For The International Seminar On Gender And Equality Public Policies Are Now Open

The School of the Judges of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Emerj) is open for registration for the International Seminar on Gender and Equality Public Policies. Supported by the National School for the Training and Improvement of Magistrates (Enfam), the event will take place on November 29th, from 9am to 6:30pm.

The seminar will be held both in person and online, and those interested will be able to choose how to take part. Those opting for the face-to-face event must register via the participant login and registration page and go to the Justice Estenio Catarino Cardozo Plenary, located at Dom Manuel Street, 10th floor, in the city of Rio de Janeiro.

For those wishing to participate remotely, access will be via the Zoom platform and prior registration will also be required, as places are limited and the system will automatically lock when the room reaches maximum capacity.

The event will also be broadcast in real time on the EMERJ EVENTOS YouTube channel, but no certificate or proof of hours will be provided.

Programming

The first panel will focus on judicial cooperation to eradicate gender-based violence and trafficking in women. The second will deal with decolonization, climate change and the impact on South America. Finally, the third will address gender and public policies for equality in the justice system. There will also be an exhibition by the Movement for Parity in the Judiciary.

The seminar, which is free to attend, will have simultaneous translation into Portuguese and Spanish and translation into Libras.
