As part of the Institutional Policy on Attention and Support for Victims of Crime and Infractions of the Judiciary, the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), through the Specialized Support Center for Victims of Crime and Infractions (Ceav), has developed strategic tools to improve the dissemination of actions and services aimed at care and protection. To this end, the “Support for Victims” hotsite and the “Intersectoral and Social Assistance Network Map” are now available.
The first tool aims to improve the dissemination of actions and promote a more accessible and humanized approach. On the hotsite, it is possible to access information about the Specialized Support Center for Victims of Crime and Infractions, the types of violence, how to seek assistance from Ceav, among others.
It also has other features aimed at facilitating access to essential information and services, such as a map of the service network.

This other tool developed by the Ceav/TJTO team aims to provide an expanded and systematized view of the services that make up the intersectional and social assistance network in the city of Palmas.
The map enables users to quickly and efficiently locate the assistance services available in their locality, as well as providing important data such as: opening hours, target audience, age group served and contacts.
It also allows addresses to be easily accessed via GPS, contributing to faster and more effective forwardings.
On the page there are 63 health services, 29 social assistance/long-stay institutions for the elderly, two social security services, 21 protection measures/social control services, seven professionalization/work and income services, four public safety services, nine education/housing services, three socio-educational services, eight LGBTQIAPN+ services/ services for people with disabilities/black and quilombola populations, and 35 legal assistance/judicial services.
Policy to support victims of crime and infractions
Based on the Resolutions No. 253/2018 and No. 386/2021 of the CNJ, and the Resolution No. 20/2023 of the TJTO, the Institutional Policy for Attention and Support for Victims of Crime and Infractions of the Judiciary in the State of Tocantins was established in a structured, universal and equal manner.
Through this policy, specific practices and actions were established for victims in an effort to improve structures and procedures to humanize care in the justice system. The creation of Specialized Support Center for Victims of Crime and Infractions is one of the main advances.
In this sense, the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins is committed to the promotion of a culture of respect and support for victims, in order to ensure that they are heard, welcomed and treated with the dignity they deserve, through the Ceav.
