Registrations Are Open For The Xv Conciliate Is Legal Award

Practices that are candidates for the XV Conciliar is Legal Award can now be registered in five of the seven categories of the award organized by the National Council of Justice (CNJ). The projects can be submitted by mediation and conciliation instructors, superior education institutions, entities that have developed out-of-court mediation and conciliation actions, those that work with complex or collective claims and members of the legal profession.

Registrations can be made until September 27th using the form on the CNJ portal.

The Conciliate is Legal Award identifies, rewards, disseminates and stimulates modernization measures in the Judiciary that contribute to bring the parties closer together, effective pacification through conflict resolution and, consequently, the improvement of justice. Initiatives by courts and those developed directly by Judges are competing in two categories, with registrations also open until September 27th, through the CNJ Portal for Good Practices in the Judiciary.

In all the categories, only proposals with proven applicability or with concrete results achieved will be considered. The evaluation and judging of practices follows criteria such as efficiency, restoration of social relations, creativity, replicability and social reach, among others. For this reason, ideas in the development phase, theses, monographs or studies are not eligible.

Productivity

The productivity of the courts in consolidating the National Judicial Policy for the Adequate Treatment of Conflicts of Interest will also be recognized. The state, federal and labor courts that achieve the highest Conflict Composition Index (ICoC), with data from November of 2023 to October of 2024, will be awarded within their segment of Justice.
