The second edition of the National Magistracy Exam (ENAM) is open for registrations until 4 pm on August 15th, next Thursday. The event is organized by the National School for the Training and Improvement of Magistrates (Enfam) and it enables graduated people in law to compete for public competitions aimed at entry into the judiciary. Heteroidentification
ENAM seeks to democratize career access, making it more diverse and representative, and provides that black people, indigenous people and people with disabilities have a differentiated minimum grade for approval. Self-declared black people should contact the court of their State in advance to request the heteroidentification procedure, considering that the courts are the only ones responsible for carrying it out.
The proof of the request for the heteroidentification procedure must be attached to the registration page until 4 pm on August 15th. Then, the document proving that the verification was done and granted must be inserted on the page of the examining board between September 9th and 12th. If the self-declared black people do not send the documents in time, they will take the test under the general conditions of qualification.
In the same way, people who have already passed through the heteroidentification procedure in the first edition of ENAM must send the confirmation of approval of self-declaration until August 15th.
About the test
ENAM will be applied in all Brazilian capitals on October 20th, from 1 pm to 6 pm, Brasília time. The exam is a qualifying and non-classification, and it will have 80 multiple choice questions on the following subjects: Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, General Notions of Law and Humanistic Training, Human Rights, Civil Procedural Law, Civil law, business law and criminal law.
The final result is expected to be released on December 17th, when the certification of qualification by Enfam will also be available.
