The aim is to explore reading as a strategy for reflection in the workplace.

The Literary Workshops aim to provide an opportunity for guided reflection on contemporary issues that affect everyday life, social relations and the workplace. Topics such as racial and social inequalities, gender oppression and sexualities will be addressed.

For this second class, the work chosen is "The Color Purple", written by Alice Walker.
