In progress since April 4th at Esmat, the Workforce Sizing Workshop (DFT) received a visit from the TJTO vice-President Justice Ângela Prudente on Tuesday afternoon (April 9th). This is the fourth group of civil servers to receive the training.

Started in 2013 to promote strategic people management policies, the "People Management by Competencies" project was resumed by the TJTO in 2023 and focuses on aligning people management activities with the strategic planning of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins (PJTO), as well as developing the competencies needed to achieve institutional objectives.

During her visit, the Justice stressed the need to analyze current and future work demands, identify gaps and develop strategies to remedy them. "That's why I urge all employees assigned by their managers to take part in the workshops and contribute with their knowledge, experience and expertise, so that we can move forward and map out the workforce scenario at our court," she said.

Workshops
Moving into another phase with the holding of face-to-face workshops, workforce sizing consists of a systematic and continuous process of assessing current and future human resource needs, with regard to the number, composition and profile of civil servers. Its aim is to indicate the ideal number of people with the appropriate skills, competencies and aptitudes to carry out the duties in each unit, with the appropriate technological, environmental and training resources.
