Esmat launches april Indigenous programming

With the aim of discussing ways to align and articulate projects and public policies aimed at the indigenous peoples of the State of Tocantins, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) has launched the April Indigenous programming, which aims to promote dialogue, collaboration and joint action in favor of the indigenous peoples of the State of Tocantins.

The programming will feature four interviews addressing the culture, customs and traditions of indigenous peoples; difficulties and barriers to access public health, education and security services; education and professional training for indigenous people; the role of indigenous women in the family and community; the dialogical relationship among the Judiciary, culture and the rights and duties of indigenous peoples, on April 8th, 15th, 17th and 19th, from 5 to 6 pm.

In a context that demands inclusion and respect for constitutional rights, the event offers an inclusive and participatory space, allowing indigenous representatives to express their needs and aspirations directly to public institutions. This direct dialog is fundamental to ensure that their voices are heard and considered in the formulation of policies that affect them.
