Amb And Cfoab Extend Registration For The National Contest Of Scientific Articles On The Civil Code Of Brazil

The Brazilian Magistrates Association (AMB) and the Federal Council of the Brazilian Bar Association (CFOAB) announced the extension of the registration period for the National Competition of Scientific Articles: 20 years of the Brazilian Civil Code. The initiative, promoted by the Judicial Research Center (CPJ/AMB), seeks to stimulate debate and academic production related to the application and interpretation of the codified civil law.

The contest contemplates two award categories: one for members of the Judiciary associated with the AMB, and another for lawyers registered in the OAB. The participants are invited to explore themes such as General Part, Obligations, Contracts, Civil Responsibility, Things, Family, Succession, and Digital Law.

Registrations must be made through the Superior School of Law's (ESA) website until 11:59 pm on July 20th, 2023. Candidates must send the article file according to the specifications in the Notice.
