Copedem holds first meeting in video conference format

With the participation of representatives of Schools of Judges from 17 Brazilian states, the Permanent College of Directors of State Schools of the Judiciary (COPEDEM) held, this Friday afternoon (15th), the first fully virtual meeting of its representatives to evaluate questions about the progress of the global Covid-19 pandemic, as well as discussing mechanisms for dialogue and training during periods of social isolation.

 

Coordinated by the entity's president, Judge Marco Villas Boas, the virtual meeting dealt with issues such as the productivity of the judiciary in times of pandemic in teleworking format, and the possibility of sharing vacancies in distance education courses taught by the Schools of Judges for interested parties from other states. On the occasion, the president of Copedem, Judge Marco Villas Boas, emphasized that, even in a period of social isolation, the School of Judges of Tocantins (ESMAT) continues with its program of distance courses, as well as with its Post-Graduate program. Graduation Stricto Sensu, which is the Professional Interdisciplinary Master in Jurisdictional Provision and Human Rights in partnership with the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT).

 


About the holding of the LI Copedem Meeting, scheduled for last April in Teresina-PI, the participants have not decided yet on a new date for the Event, which should occur using new rules of interaction and agglomeration, not stipulated by the national and global health agencies.
