After an agreement is signed between the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins and the STJ, Esmat students will have access to the Superior Court of Justice Library

Seeking one more step in the modernization of the Judiciary, the Superior Court of Justice (STJ) and the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) have signed an agreement that will allow the Justice of the State of Tocantins to use the Artificial Intelligence Platform (ATHOS), the STJ Library, the Human Rights Institutional Management Program (HUMANIZA STJ), and the Transformation Program.

 

Artificial Intelligence Program (ATHOS)

The ATHOS system aims to establish a partnership to exchange data, develop and transfer Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to improve the flow of judicial processes, in order to promote modernization policies, improvement, and access to justice.

STJ Library

Made available to the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT), the STJ Library has a collection that covers all areas of law and is composed of approximately 170 thousand documents in printed format (books, journal articles, and special collections). Among its objectives is to promote a free access to legal knowledge for citizens, and to promote the access to the Esmat Library for students and researchers.

 

Transformation Program

Regarding the Transformation Project, it consists in the institution of a quota for women in a situation of economic vulnerability resulting from domestic and family violence in the continuous services contracts of STJ with an exclusive labor dedication regime.

 

Human Rights Institutional Management Program

Finally, the Humaniza STJ is summarized in the promotion of joint activities to give effect, as far as applicable, to the aspects related to the Human Rights calendar of the National Council of Justice, established by the Ordinance CNJ No. 284 of December 10th, 2020. The program provides a special attention to issues such as gender equality and the institutional participation of women; elimination of violence against women; racial equality and institutional participation of black, brown, and other ethnic groups that make up the STJ workforce.
