The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), in partnership with the UN Department of Political Affairs and Peace building (DPPA), is selecting candidates to make up the 2023 International Mediation Expert Readiness Team. Pre-selection of the candidates registered by July 29th is expected to take place in late September.
The chosen team is expected to start at the end of January 2023. Candidates need to be in the areas of planning and conducting mediation; facilitating dialogue processes; security arrangements, with an emphasis on ceasefire; gender and inclusion; constitution-making; power-sharing; climate change and natural resources; and transitional justice and reconciliation.
