During the programming of the 90th Meeting of the Permanent College of the General Chief Justices of the Courts of Justice of Brazil (Encoge) held in the city of Salvador (BA) in the first half of November, the General Director of the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat), Justice Marco Villas Boas was awarded the honor of the Medal of Merit Justice Décio Erpen of the Permanent College of General Chief Justices of the Courts of Justice of Brazil. Justice Décio Antônio Erpen, Who gives his name to the medal, was a career magistrate in the Court of Justice of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (TJRS), General Chief Justice in that State and President of the College of General Chief Justices of the Courts of Justice of Brazil.
Created by Ordinance n°. 01/2010, of August 27th, 2010, the Medal is intended to honor public and private authorities who have rendered outstanding services to the Permanent College of General Chief Justices of Brazil or have contributed by any means and in an effective manner to the strengthening, improvement, and celerity of the provision of judicial provision or the cause of Justice.
