Copedem vice-president participates in the inauguration of the board of presidents of the courts justice of Brazil

In a ceremony held on Monday morning (10th) in Curitiba-PR, the inauguration of the board of directors of the Council of Presidents of the Brazilian Courts of Justice took place. The ceremony was attended by Judge Edvaldo Pereira de Moura (TJPI), vice-president of the Permanent College of Directors of the State Schools of the Judges (COPEDEM). 

The president inducted, Judge José Laurindo de Souza Netto, emphasized the need for autonomy and strengthening of the Courts of Justice. "We know how to manage our structures, knowing the peculiarities of each of the 27 states. The federative principle that rules us guides that we have a track, but that each one has the power to conduct its administrative structure," he said. "It is absolutely necessary, at this historic moment, that we fight for the administrative, budgetary, and financial autonomy of the state courts."

Besides the president, Judge José Laurindo de Souza Netto, the Council's new board will be composed of Judge Henrique Carlos de Andrade Figueira, from TJRJ, as vice-president; Judge Edson Ulisses de Melo, from TJSE, as Institutional Relations secretary; and Judge Waldirene Cordeiro, from TJAC, who will act as the Culture secretary.

AMB's president, Renata Gil, was honored with the commendation of the Escola da Magistratura do Piauí (ESMEPI), by judge Edvaldo Pereira de Moura, vice-president of the Permanent College of Directors of the State Schools of the Judges (Copedem) and director of the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Piauí.
