Carlos Ayres Brito teaches the Master's Degree in Jurisdictional Provision and Human Rights and Inter-institutional Doctorate in Law

On Wednesday (4th), starting at 9am, the Aula Magna will open the academic activities of the IXth class of the Master's in Jurisdictional Provision and Human Rights, to be held by the Federal University of the State of Tocantins (UFT) in partnership with the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT), as well as for the class of the Inter-Institutional Doctorate in Law (DINTER), promoted by UniCEUB in partnership with Esmat.

The guest speaker is the former minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), Professor Doctor Carlos Augusto Ayres de Freitas Britto, who will speak on "The Legal System and its formal and material conditions of possibilities". The Master's students are magistrates and permanent public servers or those holding commissioned posts in the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins; permanent public servers or those holding commissioned posts in the Executive Branch of the State of Tocantins; prosecutors, public attorneys, and permanent public servers and those holding commissioned posts in the State Prosecution Service of the State of Tocantins (MPE/TO), as well as professionals working in the area of legal provision and/or human rights. For the Doctorate 20 students are registered, including magistrates and employees of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins.

The virtual ceremony will be attended by Mr. Mauro Carlesse, Governor of the State of Tocantins; Judge Marco Villas Boas, Esmat's General Director; professor Gustavo Paschoal, coordinator of the Master's program; and professor Liziane Paixão, coordinator of the Institutional Doctorate in Law at UniCEUB.
