Registrations are now open for the Interdisciplinary Seminar on Empirical Research Applied to Legal Sciences, Judicial Provision and Human Rights, promoted by the Center for Studies and Functional Improvement - School of the State Prosecution Office (Cesaf/ESMP), the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) - through the Professional and Interdisciplinary Master's Degree in Judicial Provision and Human Rights (PPGPJDH) - and the Federal University of the State of Tocantins (UFT).
The seminar is aimed at members and civil servers of the State Prosecution Office (MPTO); magistrates and civil servers of the Judiciary and other members of the justice system; students of postgraduate programs, professionals, professors, students and the community in general. The aim of the event is to deepen the knowledge of the participants of the foundations and techniques of scientific research that enable systematized studies with consequent repercussions on the solutions to socio-legal problems.

The seminar will be held on October 11th, in the auditorium of the State Prosecution Office (MPTO), and it will be broadcast on the Cesaf-ESMP YouTube channel.
Programming
9 am — Opening
9h30 am — Lecture on "Nucleation of Research Groups on Human Rights, Public Policies and Access to Justice: challenges and legal-institutional possibilities", with Luciana Silva Garcia, PhD in Law from the Postgraduate Program in Law at the University of Brasilia (UnB) in the area of Law, State and Constitution. She has a post-doctoral internship at UnB and the Latin American College of Social Sciences (FLACSO). She is also a professor at the Institute of Public Law of Brasilia (IDP), a member of the permanent staff of the professional master's degree in Public Administration and a collaborator in the academic master's and doctorate degrees in Law.

Exhibit 1 - Research Methodology applied to the legal sciences, judicial provision and Human Rights; Exhibitor - Dr. Patrícia Medina - Research Professor at the MPPJDH - Master's Degree in Judicial Provision in Human Rights at the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins and the Federal University of the State of Tocantins.
Exhibit 2 - Qualitative and quantitative methodologies for research and evaluation of public policies and human rights; Exhibitor - Dr. Helga Midori Iwamoto - Post-doctorate in Regional Development from UFT (2019). She is currently an Associate Professor I at the Federal University of the State of Tocantins. She has experience in Feminism and the Third Sector. She is the coordinator of the Professional Master's Degree in Public Policy Management (GESPOL) at UFT.
