The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) started, on Monday, November 4th, the distance stage of the course on "Analysis of Legal Data at the TJTO: Fundamentals of Jurimetrics and AI". Focused on civil servers that work with strategic management, productivity and judicial data, the School proposes to develop skills in data analysis applied to law.
The EaD part takes place on November 4th and 11th, with synchronous web classes, from 3pm to 6pm, taught by Professors José de Jesus Filho and Alexandre Nicolella. During this theoretical phase, the participants are introduced to the fundamentals of jurimetry, research design, hypothesis structuring and initial use of analysis tools.
Then, on November 24th, 25th and 26th, the face-to-face stage will be held, with practical application of the knowledge acquired, in the Esmat classroom. The participating groups will develop complete projects, with collection and processing of judicial data, exploratory analysis and presentation of results.
The action is intended for civil servers of the units of the Strategic Management Coordination (Coges), Division of Monitoring of Goals and Indicators (Divmon), Center for Management of Precedents and Collective Actions (Nugepac), Judicial Research Group (GPJ) and Center for Parameterization (Nupara), with the aim of strengthening the culture of innovation and evidence-based decision-making in the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins.
