Registrations Are Open For Training On Caring For The Elderly In The Judiciary Of The State Of Tocantins

Registrations are open for the course on Administrative and Judicial Care of the Elderly in the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins. The training is aimed at magistrates of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins and it will be held on August 27th and 28th, in distance mode.

With a 6-hour class load, the training was requested by the State Coordination of the Elderly (Cocid) of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO). The coordination is by Judge Márcio Soares da Cunha, responsible for the Management of Precedents and Collective Actions of the TJTO.

The proposal of the course is to promote a technical and humanized approach in the caring for the elderly population, aligned with the guidelines of the Resolution n° 520 of the National Council of Justice (CNJ), 2023. The content provides for the analysis of bio psychosocial aspects of aging, legislative frameworks and strategies to strengthen the inter-institutional protection network.

The activities will include the participation of Judge Monize da Silva Freitas Marques, coordinator of the Judicial Center for the Elderly in the Court of the Federal District and Territories (TJDFT), and Judge Odete Batista Dias de Almeida, of the TJTO, with experience in formulating public policies aimed at dignified aging and the enforcement of rights.
