On Thursday (November 7th), the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) held the first meeting of the course on “Accessible Construction”, in distance learning mode. The training, aimed at civil servers from the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins and partner bodies, has 12 hours of certification and continues until November 14th.
Taught by facilitator Fabiana de Freitas Goulart Lourenço, the course aims to sensitize and train the participants on the themes of accessibility and inclusion, providing knowledge about laws and standards, as well as the needs of users with disabilities or reduced mobility in physical environments.
The themes of the first meeting were “Entering the Universe of Accessibility” and “Social Inclusion from the Perspective of Architecture”, covering subjects such as general concepts, dimensions of accessibility, social inclusion, among other topics.
