The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) began the virtual training course on “Socio-educational Measures: Integral Protection, Methodologies, Challenges and Guarantee of Rights” on Tuesday (November 12th). This first meeting covered the various family configurations and heterogeneous social groups, with emphasis on the right to family and community life in the context of socio-education and the role of the family in the process of complying with socio-educational measures.
The course, which lasts 42 hours, aims to train participants in the development of theoretical, legal and methodological skills related to children and young people. Conducted by professors Daniela Bezerra Rodrigues, Ilana Lemos de Paiva and Glória Christina de Souza Cardozo, the training includes magistrates, civil servers, trainees from the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins, as well as professionals from the fields of Psychology, Social Work and Pedagogy who are part of the Multidisciplinary Team Management Group (GGEM), civil servers from the State Prosecution and the Public Defender's Office as students.
