Magistrates And Servers Participate In Training On Extraordinary And Special Resources

The course on "Admissibility Judgment of Exceptional Appeals" began on the morning of Monday (November 4th), under the direction of Professor Marcelo Ornellas Marchiori. The training, with more than thirty registrants, is aimed at magistrates and servers who already act or wish to act in the admissibility analysis of extraordinary and special appeals.

On this first day, the focus was to clarify how courts organize and apply precedents to ensure efficiency in the analysis of appeals. The second and last class, scheduled for this Tuesday (November 5th), will present a practical approach on the criteria necessary for the submission and processing of appeals to the superior courts.

To the Chief of Staff of the General Internal Affairs of Justice, Dr. Lívia Guimarães, the issue is crucial for the judicial system, especially in higher instances, where it acts as a filter to ensure that extraordinary (STF) and special (STJ) appeals meet the requirements necessary to move forward. According to her, "The course offered by ESMAT on the subject was essential to train the team, especially during the management transition, given the importance of this process in the presidency of the court. This procedural filter contributes to the organization and rationalization of the process flow, preventing cases without constitutional or federal relevance from overloading the system, and promoting a faster and more efficient administration of justice", she said.

With a class load of 16 hours, the course was requested by the team of the General Internal Affairs of Justice and has the coordination of Judge Arióstenis Guimarães Vieira. The magistrate highlighted that the training is aligned with the strategic objectives of the General Internal Affairs and future management of the TJTO, contributing to a more qualified performance and committed to excellence in public management.
