The students certified in the course on Permanent Commission for Hetero-identification of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, promoted in 2023 by the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat), will take part, on May 8th and 9th, virtually, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., in a training course with the same theme.
The activities will be taught by Professors Manoel Mendes Amorim and Tedson da Silva Souza. This training aims to help understanding the complexity of ethnic-racial relations in the Brazilian context, analyzing the impact of the historical, structural and cultural panorama on the formation of practices that perpetuate inequalities, and recognizing the importance of anti-racist educational and communication practices to promote affirmative action and social transformation.
