"A very approachable professor, very careful with scientific terminology and very encouraging," was how Judge Francisco Vieira Filho, from the District of Araguaína, described the activities carried out by the Judge of the Court of Justice of the State of Minas Gerais (TJMG), Maurício Ferreira Cunha, during the five-day course on "Theoretical and Practical Aspects of the Code of Civil Procedure".
Started on April 15th and ending this Friday (April 19th), the training, accredited by the National School for the Training and Improvement of Magistrates (Enfam), aimed to provide an in-depth understanding, both theoretical and practical, of the Code of Civil Procedure to the magistrates and civil servers of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins.
After completing the course, it is hoped that the students will be prepared to apply the knowledge they have acquired in their daily activities, promoting a more efficient practice in line with current discussions and legal constructions.
Judge Francisco Vieira Filho emphasized the importance of the initiative and said: "in addition to providing us with a refresher course, it was very exciting. We had contact with the most modern doctrine and jurisprudence on institutes still under consideration in the Judiciary. The humanism of the professor also enchanted us, showing not only his intellectual knowledge, but also his moral compass. He taught us with concern for the repercussions on society and provided us with an empirical view of the law, through court decisions, as well as well-founded dynamics in teaching pedagogy."
Naysa Polliana Freire, an employee of Enfam, was present and accompanied the course.
