Considered one of the creators and promoters of the creation of the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program in Judicial Provision and Human Rights (PPGJDGH), at the level of Professional and Interdisciplinary Master's Degree, Justice Marco Villas Boas, General Director of the School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT), participated, on Tuesday morning (14th), in an academic class of the IX Class of the Master's Degree. The Stricto Sensu Program is held by the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT) in partnership with the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT).
On the occasion, the Justice recalled the historical context of the accreditation of the Program at the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Level Personnel (CAPES). "It was a great victory, practically inexplicable in the particularities of Tocantins for Capes to have authorized it. We had the help and participation of many professors from outside until we reached this degree of maturity that we have today, with academic works that address complex issues that challenge the construction of reasoning and solutions, to reflect everything that has happened in our society, which demands an efficient and effective resolution", he argued.
Due to the health restrictions imposed by the pandemic, the activities took place remotely, through the Google Meet Platform. This class has 34 master students represented by magistrates, permanent servers or those holding an appointed position in the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins; permanent servers or those holding an appointed position in the Executive Branch of the State of Tocantins; prosecutors, justice attorneys, and permanent public servers in commissioned positions in the State Prosecution of the State of Tocantins (MPE/TO); and professionals (general public) working in the area of Jurisdictional Provision and/or Human Rights.
