Esmat signs a Commitment Term allocating vacancies in the Master'S Degree in Judicial Provision and Human Rights (UFT) to the tre and the State Public Defender'S Office

Through a Term of Commitment signed between the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins, the Federal University of the State of Tocantins (UFT) with the Regional Electoral Court (TRE) and the State Public Defender’s Office (DPE), was signed, on the morning of Wednesday (24th), the allocation of 17 new vacancies in the Post-Graduation Program in Judicial Provision and Human Rights (PPGPJDH-UFT/ESMAT) for the next selection process planned for the first semester of 2022. The Stricto Sensu Post-Graduation course will be offered to the public servers of the two organs, for the improvement of Judicial Provision, under the perspective of judicial, social, political, cultural and environmental issues related to institutional problems, aiming at the improvement of public services provided to society.

According to the Justice Marco Villas Boas, General Director of Esmat, throughout the nine classes, this Professional and Interdisciplinary Master has promoted the formation of professionals already working in the institutions, besides presenting to the society the results of researches destined to the application in several organs and institutions. “We are very pleased with the partnerships signed with the institutions because they improve the scope of the final products, resulting in a bank of projects from the academic work that can be implemented in various organs, thus improving the judicial provision of the State of Tocantins”, he said.

Justice Helvécio de Brito Maia Neto, president of the Regional Electoral Court of the State of Tocantins (TRE-TO), emphasized the importance of the partnership for the improvement of the judicial provision. “The Post-Graduation Program in Judicial Provision and Human Rights will enable the qualification of Judges and employees of the TRE in important áreas related to social, environmental and legal issues. Themes of great relevance for the work developed by the Judiciary on behalf of society,” he said.

For the Doctor Professor Gustavo Paschoal, coordinator of the Master's degree, the partnership between Esmat and the other agencies reinforces the improvement in the quality of the program and its commitment to the impact on work processes, given its professional character. "Since the beginning of the Master's the School has been present. So we would like to thank you, because this joint work reinforces the concern for the quality of education offered by UFT," he said.

Mrs. Estellamaris Postal, General Public Defender of DPE-TO, thanked the partners for the opportunity to receive 12 more vacancies for servers and members. "A consolidated School such as Esmat gives us confidence in the training and qualification of our team, especially when it comes to human rights, which is our main banner. With this qualified look, the processes will be judged not only by the cold letters of the law, but also by a broader look that includes even the cultural issue integrated to the process, and the winner is our jurisdiction", she said.

The substitute Director of the Superior School of the Public Defender's Office (ESDEP), the Public Defender Luciana Costa, complemented on the importance of dealing with the theme of human rights in the academy. "It is a partnership that makes us very grateful, because it focuses on public policies in favor of the needy people of our state. So, the more masters and doctors we have, the more qualification our academy will have, and the more our students will gain", said the Public Defender.

The Postgraduate Program in Judicial Provision and Human Rights (PPGPJDH) is a Stricto Sensu Interdisciplinary and Professional Postgraduate Program conducted by the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT) in partnership with the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT).

 

The Master's course offered by the Program is aimed at public servers and magistrates from the Judiciary, professors, and professionals who work in the Justice system in the area of Judicial Provision and Human Rights. The objective is to further qualify the professionals who work in the judiciary and carry out their activities in the State of Tocantins.
