The library of the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins is specialized in Law, but it also has non-legal works that serve as support to the performance and administration of the Judiciary; it also offers support to the courses developed by Esmat.
Access for study and consultation is free to all. Home lending is restricted to Judges, public servers and trainees of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, and to the post-graduate students of Esmat only during the course period.

History
The Library was created in 1999, initially installed at the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins, in order to meet the information demands from magistrates and public servers from the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins.
In 2010, the Library became part of the organizational structure of the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins to offer didactic and scientific support to the academic community of the School, besides managing the bibliographic collection available to the units of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins.
Collection
Main Collection
Mainly composed of legal books, but it also has works in areas related to the performance and administration of the Judiciary, as well as Brazilian and foreign literature. Through the Intranet and/or Internet, it is also possible to consult the Digital Platforms, Proview, MagisterNet and My Library.
Special Collection
A collection of classic and out-of-print works, with works by great Brazilian jurists - Pontes de Miranda, Ruy Barbosa, and Clóvis Bevilacqua - and foreigners.
Periodicals
Collection with more than 100 titles of printed and digital periodicals. Part of the printed articles is indexed, with consultation available in the online catalog; part of the collection is composed of the Proview database that brings the collection of the Periodicals of the Journal of the Courts Editor and MagisterNet that brings the periodicals of Lex Magister Editor.
Journal of Justice
Complete collection of printed editions of the Journal of Justice of the State of Tocantins from 1989 to 2006. The collection was digitalized and made available in the consultation system of the Library, making it accessible to the entire community.
Data Base
The Library has three research platforms which content is accessible on the Intranet and/or |Internet: Digital Library ProView™.
ProView™ Digital Library: A platform that brings together an initial collection of more than 800 works published by Journal of the Courts Editor and Fiscosoft. The Library is updated monthly, with new titles and new editions. It is possible to search the Library and each work; make personalized notes, highlights and bookmarks on any available work, and also print the content in PDF format. Access via Intranet/Internet, request registration in the Library.
My Library: This platform has a collection of more than 8,000 titles, 100% in Portuguese; it serves more than 200 courses and more than 1,500 subjects. There are 12 major academic publishers and 15 publishing labels, including: Group A, Group Gen, Atlas, Manole, Saraiva, Cortez, Forense LTC, Método. A catalog rich in areas of specialization: Legal, Human, Exact, Applied Social, Agrarian, Biological, and Health Sciences. Access via Internet, request registration in the Library.
Magister Net: Repertory Authorized by TST, STF and STJ, online Specialized Journals. More than 1,000 issues of Lex periodicals, Jurisprudence. There are more than 24 million selected judgments of the main Brazilians, Legislation. More than 130.000 updated legal norms: Federal Constitution; State Codes; Norms and Highlights; Provisional Measures; Complementary Laws; Ordinary Laws; Decree-Laws; Legislative Decrees; Doctrine Decrees; Doctrine Base with more than 6,000 articles of the greatest national legal exponents, in the several areas of Law, Models of Opinions, Sentences, Orders and Contracts - insertion in progress.
