Esmat And The State Prosecution Sign A Partnership To Offer Places On The Master's Degree In Judicial Provision And Human Rights

The Public Prosecution of the State of Tocantins (MPTO), through the General Attorney, Abel Andrade Leal Júnior, and the Center for Studies and Functional Improvement - Superior School of the State Prosecution (Cesaf/ESMP), represented by the general director Miguel Batista de Siqueira Filho, signed a Term of Commitment on Wednesday (February 19th) in partnership with the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat). The document, signed by the parties and by Justice Marco Villas Boas, general director of Esmat, formalizes cooperation to offer places on the Postgraduate Program in Judicial Provision and Human Rights (PPGPJDH).

On the occasion, Justice Marco Villas Boas presented the General Attorney, Abel Andrade Leal Júnior, and the general director of Cesaf/ESMP, Miguel Batista de Siqueira Filho, with the Esmat Medallion, an honor awarded in recognition of personalities who make a significant contribution to strengthen justice and education. 

In addition, the Biennium Management Report of Esmat (2023-2024) was delivered, a document that presents an overview of the actions carried out by the institution and the progress made over the last few years.

In his speech, Justice Marco also stressed the importance of cooperation between the institutions in order to advance qualification in the Justice System and wished success to the new management of the School of the State Prosecution, emphasizing his commitment to the continuity and strengthening of initiatives aimed at training and improving the members and civil servers of the MPTO. 

The Term of Commitment will be valid for thirty months and it will contribute to strengthen research and the qualification of civil servers.
