According to the schedule of the notice, the registration period runs from January 21st to 26th. The application includes filling out the form and UPLOAD the required documents. And here is an important warning: There will be no other opportunity for UPLOAD.

How the selection will be

The selection process has three moments: Preliminary stage (qualifying): registration + sending of documents (SGC); Stage 1: objective test (face-to-face); and Stage 2: discursive test (writing) (face-to-face). According to the schedule, the tests (objective and discursive) are scheduled for March 8th, in the city of Palmas (TO), on the same day and time.

About PRJud

PRJud was designed for those who want to learn "from the inside" how the routine of the Judiciary works and, at the same time, deepen academic training. Therefore, the program is structured in two inseparable and mandatory dimensions: the practical dimension (Legal Residency), developed in the units of 1st and 2nd degrees of the Judiciary, under institutional guidance, and the theoretical dimension, corresponding to LATO SENSU Graduation in Judicial Practice, offered by Esmat.

In practice, this means that the in person part of the training work (residence) will be carried out in the units and bodies of the TJ provided for in the notice, according to the place where the candidate(s) apply and are approved.

The Post-Graduation will be offered by ESMAT in the modality that meets the current legislation and location (or places) defined by the School, which can only take place in the city of Palmas, at ESMAT, or simultaneously in regions of the State, so as to better serve the residents. More information about will be passed on to the residents in own notice and by the Post Graduation Center of the School.

The proposal of the program is to work skills to deepen theoretical knowledge, develop practical techniques for conflict resolution and promotion of justice, covering teaching, research and extension, as well as strengthening the support to the units of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins, contributing to the improvement of the judicial provision.

The residency journey will observe the maximum limit of 30 hours per week. The TJTO will pay monthly internship scholarship for a period of 24 months, in the amount of R$ 3,000.00 (three thousand reais), plus transport aid of R$ 240.00 (two hundred and forty reais) per month, according to the TJTO Ordinance no 3,844, of November 24th, 2025.

It is also important to remember that the PRJud has an educational nature, not generating employment ties of any kind. Thus, the provisions of the Law no 11.788 of 2008 (Law on Internship) apply, as indicated in the notice.

Therefore, during the program, the resident cannot practice Law; the notice provides for the need to request suspension of the BAR portfolio during the term of the scholarships.

Where to follow notices and ask questions

The notice reinforces that no information will be given by phone. The official means of communication is the Candidate Area in the SGC (Competitions Management System). In addition, summons and communications must be accompanied by publications on the Electronic Gazette of Justice, the TJTO SITE and the Esmat portal.
