Registrations Are Open For Postgraduate Course In Educational Innovations For Teaching Practice

On Wednesday (March 5th), the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) opened registrations for the LATO SENSU Postgraduate Course in Educational Innovations for Teaching Practice. The course will take place between April 7th, 2025 and September 30th, 2026, with face-to-face classes at Esmat in the city of Palmas.

Those interested can sign up until March 12th, exclusively through the Competitions Management System of Esmat (SGC).

About the course

The specialization aims to train magistrates, judicial staff and members of partner bodies to work with innovative practices in education, using active teaching methodologies. With a class load of 360 hours, the postgraduate course seeks to develop educational strategies aimed at improving learning and educational management.

Distribution of vacancies

A total of 36 places are available, distributed among magistrates and civil servers from the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) and partner bodies of Esmat, such as the State Prosecution, the Public Defender's Office, the Federal Police, the Court of Auditors, the Federal Court, Palmas City Hall, the Office of the Federal Comptroller, the BAR, as well as teachers from indigenous and quilombola communities.

The places for civil servers from partner bodies and traditional communities will be filled through nomination in response to the invitation letter sent by Esmat. If a partner body does not fill its vacancy, it may be redistributed according to the criteria in the notice.

Candidates will be selected by curriculum analysis, according to the criteria set out in the notice.
