2nd Jud Pop Street Of The City Of Palmas Pleases Served Population With More Than 60 Services And 522 Volunteers

The 2nd Jud Pop Street Task Force, held at the Almirante Tamandaré Full-time School in the city of Palmas, attracted a crowd early on Friday morning (September 12th), in search of more than 60 services offered by the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins and 30 partner entities. The service goes until 6 pm, with the mobilization of 522 volunteers acting in the triage and follow-up of the attended.

They are assistance in the areas of citizenship, with the provision of documentation such as identity card, birth registration, CPF, certificate of voter, reserve certificate, declaration of hypo sufficiency, Single Registry, Family Grant and paternity recognition.

In Health, medical consultations are available, such as ophthalmology, prevention and control of sexually transmitted infections, pap smears and PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen), mammography, dental cart, pressure measurement, blood glucose testing, nutrition and vaccination. In the area of Social Assistance, there is referral to the labor market and guidelines for withdrawals from FGTS (Service Time Guarantee Fund), PIS (Social Integration Program) and Pasep (Public Service Patrimony Training Program).

In access to Justice, the services include guidance for requesting assistance and social security benefits, settlement of pending cases in the CPF, legal guidelines, procedural consultations and pre-procedural assistance, among others. We also offer assistance to pets, haircut, solidary hanger (donation of clothes and shoes) and food for the assisted population.

Deputy Coordinator of the Jud Pop Street Regional Committee, Judge Rosa Maria Rodrigues Gazire Rossi highlights that the edition of the task force met expectations. "We had no tumult or complications, we found several smiling people in the environments, all very satisfied with what they received". 

The presence of authorities is also another important factor, according to the judge. "It serves to sensitize and raise authorities and magistrates of our Court who have come awareness; many are working in screening, cooking and service; this shows that we are growing and gradually improving ourselves".

The structure of the school, provided by the Municipal Secretary of Education is a factor that contributed to the qualified service. "The objective was this: a service with quality, with the same and humanized reception".

Maria Rosa da Luz, 81, praised the promptness of the task force. She lost belongings and personal documents in a fire at the residence where she lived in 2012. Next to the daughter, they sought Jud Pop Street to redo the lost documentation. "I first made the request for the second way of my birth registration to then make the identity; it will be ready in five days," she explained, while praising the service. "I was very well attended”.

Kohalue Karajá, a natural indigenous on Bananal Island and resident of the Southern Region of the capital, sought the event to give a visual treatment. "I live two blocks from here, so I took the opportunity to come and get my hair cut," said.

Edson Pereira de Souza, 57 years old, resident of “Jardim Aureny I” neighborhood since the 1990s, focused on health services. In addition to a hearing impairment, he has orthopedic problems in his legs and now he had frequent headaches. "I have very bad views and now I took the prescription glasses," he said, highlighting agility. "I liked the service very much, it was fast".

Andréia Carvalho Noleto lives in a condominium near the school-headquarters of the task force and she demonstrated satisfaction with the service. "I was very well attended, made my identity, participated in the solidary hanger with many new products, then I got clothes for me and my daughter and also a oral hygiene kit. I’m in line to go to the Public Defender’s Office get an orientation and also to the salon to fix my hair".

Solange Almeida da Silva also solved documentary issues. "I’m with the ID spoiled and I have to take the second way of the birth registration to make another, so I made the request". The resident of the South Region, 42 years old, also enjoyed the solidary hanger. "I liked the clothesline, I found the service good because it was "quick" and the clothes are very good”.

The 2nd Jud Pop Street follows until 6 pm this Friday (September 12th) and it will be closed with the Community Wedding, reaffirming the affective and transformative character of the initiative, which offers services in essential areas, including Health, Assistance, Education in Rights, Documentation, Veterinary and Culture throughout the day.
