Seminar On Attention To The Former Inmate From The Penal System Will Be Held This Friday; Registrations Are Open

The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) is holding the II State Seminar on Policies for the Care of Former Inmates from the Penal System this Friday (September 12th). The event will take place at 9 a.m. in the auditorium of Esmat, with live broadcast to all districts in the State and other regions.

The activity lasts six hours and it is aimed at magistrates, judicial and penal system officials, penal enforcement operators, members of the Care Network for Former Inmates (Raesp), egresses prisoners and their families, students, researchers, and representatives of civil society.

With a programming focused on the debate on social reintegration policies and strengthening Social Offices, the Seminar is organized by the Monitoring and Inspection Group for the Prison System and Socio-Educational Measures (GMF/TO), in partnership with the State Secretariat for Citizenship and Justice (Seciju). It is coordinated by Judge José Eustáquio Melo Júnior.

Representatives from the National Council of Justice (CNJ), the Making Justice Program, the National Secretariat for Criminal Policy (Senappen), civil society, and the Social Office of the city of Palmas are participating as facilitators.
