Copedem And Iess Promote National Debate On Judicialization And Supplementary Health

The Permanent College of Directors of State Schools of the Magistracy (Copedem), in partnership with the Institute of Supplementary Health Studies (IESS), held on September 12th, the 12th Legal Congress of Supplementary Health, in the city of Brasilia. The event will bring together ministers of the Superior Court of Justice (STJ), representatives of the National Agency for Supplementary Health (ANS), lawyers, academics and sector leaders to discuss the challenges and perspectives of supplementary health in the Brazilian Legal scenario.

With live transmission by the channels of Copedem and IESS on YOUTUBE, the programming of the Congress includes four thematic panels that will address the following topics: maturations in the national legal scenario; consequencialism and economy of law; fraud and waste in supplementary health; and the role of magistrates in the use of tools to support judicial decisions.

Copedem dialogues

As part of the programming of the week, on September 11th, it will be held the first edition of the project on Copedem Dialogues, an initiative that marks the 20th anniversary of the College. The event will take place from 3pm to 7pm, at the Royal Tulip Brasilia Alvorada Hotel, with the theme on "Justice and Economy: Paths for a Brazil with Legal Security, Innovation and Sustainable Development". Representatives from Microsoft, iFood, BNDES (National Bank for Economic and Social Development), Eletrobrás (Brazilian Power Plants S.A.), Febraban (Brazilian Federation of Banks), CNseg (National Confederation of General Insurance Companies, Private Pension and Life, Supplementary Health and Capitalization), Rede D'Or (groups of private hospitals in Brazil) and public policy research centers are confirmed.
