Starting at 8:30 a.m. this Thursday (May 15th), in the auditorium of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), the programming for the event on Inclusive Judiciary: Building a Justice without Barriers features a sequence of six lectures dealing with everything from attitudinal accessibility, with retired Judge Adhemar Chúfalo, to the legal capacity of people with disabilities, with assistant Judge to the Presidency of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) Katia Roncada, including debates on institutional capacitism with Lawyer Joelson Dias, accessible communication in the Judiciary with Priscilla Selares, the challenges of neurodivergence with Neuropsychologist Jordanna Parreira and the linguistic rights of deaf people with Clarissa Gomes de Sousa.

More than just an ongoing training, the proposal is an invitation to listen, review practices and collectively build more accessible, equitable and humane environments in the justice system. With 1,300 places available - 300 in person and 1,000 at a distance - and a workload of 7 hours, the activity is open to the public.

Registrations are open until the day of the event and they can be made by clicking here.

During the event, the exhibition: Rereadings from a New Look, by young artist Maria Eduarda Leite Araújo - Duda Leite - will also be presented, revealing a unique and sensitive look at art, inclusion and identity.

The event is being promoted by the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat), at the request of the Permanent Commission for Accessibility and Inclusion (CPAI/TJTO).
