Seminar on confronting discrimination and moral and sexual harassment is open for registration

Registrations are now open for the Seminar on Preventing and Confronting of the Moral and Sexual Harassment and Discrimination. The event will be held on May 6th, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., in person (at Esmagis-MT) and virtually via the Teams platform. Registrations are open until 4pm on May 3rd (Friday).

The event is aimed at magistrates, advisors and servers of the State Judiciary, as well as members of the State Prosecution, public lawyers, lawyers and legal professionals.

According to the Judge coordinating the event, Amini Haddad Campos, there is a current need to “debate not only the literal text of the Resolution, which establishes within the Judiciary the Policy for Preventing and Confronting Moral and Sexual Harassment and Discrimination, but also its practical implications, promoting critical reflection on the issue.”

The topic will be presented by the National Treasury Attorney Vladia Pompeu. She is a PhD candidate in Constitutional Law at the Brazilian Institute for Education, Development and Research - IDP. She holds a Master's degree in Law and Public Policies from the University Center of Brasilia - UNICEUB (2015) and a Master's degree in Human Rights, Interculturality and Development from the Pablo de Olavide University (Spain). Author of the book: “Public policies: shaping and realizing rights” (Políticas Públicas: conformação e efetivação de direitos). Current President of the Empodera (Empower) Institute.
