The challenges of the academic education in Brazil in the face of changes in the educational process was the theme of the opening of the 55th Meeting of the Permanent College of Directors of State Schools of Magistracy (COPEDEM), on the afternoon of Thursday (30th) in the city of Salvador (BA).Taught by the Doctor Professor Luiz Roberto Liza Curi, President of the National Education Council, the lecture on “Contemporary Challenges in Higher Education” opened the LV Meeting of Copedem, which ends on Friday (31st).
With the presence of magistrates, directors of Schools of Magistracy from all over the country, the opening ceremony was held by Justice Marco Villas Boas, President of Copedem and General Director of the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT), accompanied by Justice Mario Albiani Alves Junior, General Director of the Corporate University of TJBA (UNICORP), the General Director of the School of the Judges of the State of Bahia (EMAB), Judge Marcelo José Santos Lagrota Felix, and Justice Nilson Soares Castelo Branco, President of the Court of Justice of the State of Bahia (TJBA).
Justice Marco Villas Boas spoke about the need to debate technological advances in the face of the new paradigm of judicial provision in the country.
"We need to address the contemporary issue of the limits we must have to the use of digital technologies, especially in relationships and interrelationships, given that we deal with unpredictable and unknown cycles of transformation," he recalled.
