CGJUS (General Internal Affairs Of Justice) Receives Workshops On Simple Language With Two Classes In February

The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) will hold, in February, two classes of the course on "Workshop on Simple Language", aimed at magistrates, civil servers and trainees of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins working in the General Internal Affairs of Justice (CGJUS).

There will be 20 vacancies per class, with in person classes at Esmat, totaling 16 hours of workload in each group. Registrations will take place by nomination. For Class I, the registration days are February 4th and 5th; for Class II, nominations will be received from February 13th to 20th.

With the coordination of Judge Marcelo Laurito Paro, Class I will take place on February 10th and 11th; and Class II, on February 26th and 27th. The activities will be conducted by facilitators André Vinicius D'i Oliveira Gomes and Lucas Ferreira Gomes, with modules that address fundamentals of Simple Language, identification of communication barriers in institutional texts, clear writing techniques and a practical workshop to rewrite documents and communications used in the daily life of the Judiciary.

According to the Notice no 012, of 2026, the objective of the course is to train the participants "to apply principles of the Simple Language in institutional communication, promoting clarity, objectivity and accessibility in texts produced under the Judiciary".

The initiative also dialogues with the National Policy of Simple Language, established by the Law no 15.263, of November 14th of 2025, for bodies and entities of public administration, in the three federal levels and in all powers.
